About
This Salsa & Bachata class will light up your week—and maybe even your life! Come ready to have fun, meet new people, discover vibrant cultures, and build real connection through dance. This is an open-level class, and Aurélie adapts the content to the group each week—from complete beginners to more advanced dancers. We focus primarily on partner work, helping you develop strong communication, musicality, and confidence on the social dance floor. Each week, we alternate between Cuban Salsa and Modern Bachata. Class begins with an articular and muscular warm-up, followed by footwork practice, and then we dive into partner combinations. All you need is a pair of shoes that allow you to spin easily—sneakers, dance heels, jazz shoes, or even socks! Thursday from 6-7 pm in the Fitness Room and let’s build an amazing, joyful social dance community together.
Classes will be held in The Narwhal Fitness Room (UL205). Here is a VIDEO showing you how to find the Narwhal Fitness Room!
