About
Buddy Ball Bash partners with the organization Best Buddies and Buddy Ball which provide an organized baseball league for the differently abled youth, an opportunity many of these kids would not have. This event brings Buddy Ball directly to the UCF campus with RSO, Greek Life, and Athletics "buddy" groups. These buddy groups are volunteers who will accompany the youth athletes during the game. The goal of this event is to increase disability awareness around campus. I am working closely with UCF Athletics and Brand Experience to organize the event. We are having athletics teams serve as buddy groups such as UCF Softball. The event will be held on the UCF Softball field with refreshments and activities on the outskirts of the stadium.
