About
The club meets every Thursday during the semester at 7 PM for socializing, a brief talk, and dinner.
Whether you prefer Broadway or Venture Capital, the Newman Club at NYU offers opportunities for you. The Newman Club connects students with Catholic public figures, entrepreneurs, and creatives to get practical advice for their career fields and learn how to pursue their goals with the Catholic faith. As an official NYU club, the Newman Club also offers leadership opportunities that stand out in interviews and mentorship opportunities with professionals in your field.
The Newman Club supports NYU students who desire to live their Catholic faith while pursuing their education and career goals at the same time. There’s no need to forget your faith for your career. Whether you are pursuing business at Stern, acting at Tisch, or engineering at Tandon, the Newman Club is your way of keeping Jesus Christ in focus while you pursue and achieve your professional goals. As St. John Henry Newman once said, “Knowledge is one thing, virtue is another.”
