About

Join the Kingwood Mental Health Services (MHS) team for a meaningful conversation about the holiday blues and a little Thanksgiving creativity! While the holidays are often associated with joy and celebration, they can also bring feelings of sadness, loneliness, grief, stress, or emotional overwhelm. This workshop will explore why some people experience the holiday blues, ways to navigate difficult emotions, and practical coping strategies to support mental and emotional well-being. Students can also enjoy Thanksgiving-themed art activities, connect with others, and learn about helpful mental health resources. Come as you are, embrace a little creativity, and remember that it's okay if the holidays don't always feel happy!
