Join MDSA & Dr. Emily Peca for an interactive AI Learning Lab focused on practical strategies for incorporating artificial intelligence into research, academic work, and professional workflows. The session will combine short presentations, hands-on activities, and opportunities for discussion.
Workshop Agenda:
The State of AI (5 min): Brief overview of the current AI landscape, including important considerations and limitations.
Process Mapping & Brainstorming (10 min): Explore strategies for brainstorming, mapping workflows, and identifying opportunities to use AI effectively.
Research Synthesis (10 min): Learn techniques for using AI to synthesize research and organize information.
Presentation Skills (10 min): Discover ways AI can support the development of clear, effective presentations.
Hands-On Exercise & Q&A (20 min): Apply the strategies discussed through an interactive exercise and ask questions.
GW AI Resources (5 min): Review AI tools, guidance, and resources available through GW.
