About
Join us for First Generation College Student Day Celebration on Monday, November 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Reeve Concourse!
National First Generation College Celebration Day recognizes and celebrates students who are the first in their families to pursue a four-year college degree. It is an opportunity to honor the resilience, accomplishments, and contributions of first-generation students while raising awareness of the unique strengths and experiences they bring to campus.
At UWO, we celebrate because first-generation students are an important part of our campus community. Many of our students are forging a new path for themselves and their families, and we are committed to supporting their success every step of the way.
Stop by to connect with campus resources, learn about opportunities available to first-generation students, and enjoy fun activities with:
• First Scholars
• Titan Tough
• TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) & SSS STEM
• First Generation College Student Organization
• McNair Scholars
• Tri-Alpha First Generation Honor Society
Whether you are a first-generation college student, a first-generation graduate, a family member, or an advocate for first-generation students, we invite you to stop by, say hello, and show your support as we celebrate the first-generation community at UWO!
We look forward to celebrating with you! 🎉🎓💙💛
