Join Intercultural Engagement and Inclusion for a meaningful observance of Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR). Held annually, TDOR honors the memory of transgender people whose lives have been lost to acts of anti-transgender violence while raising awareness of the discrimination and violence that transgender communities continue to experience.

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to gather in remembrance, demonstrate support for the transgender community, and reflect on how we can help foster a more just, inclusive, and affirming campus. Whether you identify as transgender, are an ally, or would like to learn more, your presence is meaningful. All Hofstra community members are welcome.
