CCAM MIX (Moving Image Exterior) exhibits moving images across the façade of 149 York Street, as well as inside our Leeds Studio. At the confluence of art, architecture, and public space, the system invites passersby to pause, see everyday surroundings in new ways, and enter the building to join us in our studios.

CCAM is pleased to share the first selections for CCAM MIX: The Worlds Between Us, a project by Nate Britton (CCAM Guest Art Director, 2026–2027).

2.B by Joey Moro (Lecturer, Projection Design, David Geffen School of Drama) and Worlds Within by Jason Ting will be presented together across the façade of 149 York Street during the last two weekends in November.

From Nate:

“Joey Moro’s 2.B comments on how technology brings people together while also creating distance and separation. It raises questions about individuality, human connection, and our place in an increasingly digital world. I chose this work because it encourages viewers to think about how technology shapes the way we interact with one another and understand ourselves.

Jason Ting’s Worlds Within explores the idea that every individual has a unique inner world, expressed through movement, light, and abstract forms. It connects to the prompt by encouraging viewers to look beyond what is visible and consider the individuality and complexity that exist within each of us.”
