About
South Side Civic’s mission is to connect South Side nonprofits, community organizations, and social entrepreneurs with the UChicago network to solve complex problems through technology and data. The purpose of our event is to form cross-functional teams to scope out civic organizations’ problems, break them down into manageable parts, and develop a plan to address them. We will be forming small groups of students who will be working with a professional outside Harris and nonprofit organization representatives to scope problems for those nonprofit leaders and build meaningful professional relationships.

We will have breakfast and lunch provided on both days for all attendees, along with networking sessions and lightning talks to conclude the weekend. See you all there for a weekend of teamwork, scoping and fun!
