About

This event will be an interactive tabling experience designed to help students feel more prepared and confident before driving home for Thanksgiving break. The table will provide students with quick, accessible information on basic car safety and maintenance.

To encourage students to stop and participate, students can answer a car care question for the chance to spin the prize wheel. The table will also offer printed emergency contact cards with important numbers to keep in a vehicle, along with simple, easy-to-follow how-to pamphlets covering basic car maintenance and emergency situations.

Candy and car air fresheners will be available at the table as an additional incentive for students to stop by and engage with the resources. The event will be hosted by the Life Skills Cabinet and will provide students with practical knowledge and resources they can use not only for their Thanksgiving trip, but for future driving and roadside situations as well.
