Medical Students for Choice invites you to join us for dinner and a reading of The Turnaway Play, a compelling work inspired by the groundbreaking Turnaway Study. Through humor, honesty, and the real experiences of study participants, the play explores the consequences of being denied abortion care while challenging myths, reducing stigma, and humanizing an issue that affects millions. We hope this engaging event will spark meaningful dialogue and inspire our community to advocate for the protection and expansion of reproductive rights. We also welcome volunteers interested in helping bring this reading to life—no acting experience is necessary!
In terms of setup we would like to use W134 Met similarly to how it was used for this event last year. We would need access to the screen to project on to and use the PowerPoint that accompanies the reading of the play. Thank You!
