About
The Gannon Center for Women and Leadership in collaboration with the Loyola Law School invites you to join us for an upcoming community event: “Gender Violence Survivors’ Experiences with the Illinois Criminal Justice System.” The event will bring together legal experts, advocates, and directly impacted leaders to discuss the systemic barriers and criminalization faced by gender-based violence survivors in Illinois.
It will take place on Thursday, November 12th 4-6pm at the Corboy Law Center, 10th floor (25 E. Pearson). Other co-sponsors include: the Center for Criminal Justice and the Women’s Studies and Gender Studies Program.
Light refreshments will be provided. Please register for the event using this link:
We hope that you can join us for this important event. Today more than ever we need to create spaces that foster open dialogue, education, and collaboration to improve outcomes for survivors across Illinois.
