About

Through this program, participants will explore Dorothy’s journey as an educator, entrepreneur, and community servant, learning how her dedication and determination shaped her life beyond the classroom.

From her early days training to become a teacher in Indianapolis to establishing her own millinery business and helping manage her family’s business, Dorothy demonstrated versatility, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others.
