About
OPEN TO ALL MAJORS
The National Black Pre-Law Conference & Law Fair (NBPLC) is a national educational convening designed to provide aspiring lawyers with access to information, resources, and professional networks related to legal education and legal careers. Attendees tour law schools firsthand, learn directly from admissions committees, explore the realities of the bar exam, and gain exposure to legal careers — from BigLaw to public interest to entrepreneurship. While the conference centers the experiences of Black and historically underrepresented students, participation is open to all individuals interested in pursuing pathways into the legal profession.
The conference also emphasizes the growing role of artificial intelligence in law school and legal practice — integrating discussions about AI tools, legal technology, and innovation throughout the three-day experience so attendees understand and are prepared for the modern legal landscape.
