About
In The Black Book, Morrison explores the cultural representation of African Americans. Building on Morrison's exploration, Dr. Jacqueline Hudson will examine the evolution of Black Hollywood during the 1930s and 1940s, both in front of and behind the camera. Dr. Hudson will discuss the individuals and institutions that helped transform African American representation from one-dimensional stereotypes to complex and multidimensional individuals.
