The “Pie an SGA Leader” event is an interactive campus engagement initiative designed to promote awareness and education during Diabetes Awareness Month. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a fun activity by purchasing a pie to throw at participating Student Government Association (SGA) leaders. The event aims to encourage student involvement, foster community engagement, and raise awareness about diabetes, including its risk factors, prevention, and impact on individuals and families. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Diabetes Association to support its efforts in diabetes awareness, education, research, and advocacy.
