About
Since 2018, More in Common(Link is external) has tracked the fault lines of American polarization and discovered that beneath the familiar left-right split, a new divide is emerging: between those who see politics as a war to be won, and those who still believe we can build something together across our differences.
Join Jason Mangone (executive director) and Stephen Hawkins (global director of research) of More in Common to explore how polarization has evolved over the past decade and to tackle the question defining our political moment: Are we destined for a politics of domination — or is there still a path to a shared future, forged through our differences rather than in spite of them?
Presentation will be followed by a conversation facilitated by Yale Democracy Project student leaders.
Sponsored by Cultivating Conversation, the Yale Democracy Project, and Yale Votes.
