About
She Is The Music at NYU is hosting an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to Artist House, one of NYC’s newest music hubs! Founded by GRAMMY-winning producer Gregg Wattenberg and music industry veteran Steve Lerner, Artist House brings state-of-the-art recording studios, an independent record label, publishing, artist management, and brand partnerships under one roof. The visit will include a guided studio tour, a look inside the control room with professional engineers, immersive Dolby Atmos mixing demonstrations, and an intimate Q&A with the Artist House team about the creative and business sides of the music industry.
Attendees will:
• Tour Artist House and explore one of the largest state-of-the-art recording studio complexes in the U.S.
• Go inside the control room with Artist House engineer Nysa, who will break down the studio equipment and how sessions come together.
• Experience Dolby Atmos with engineer Ethan through small-group demonstrations of immersive mixes in the mix room.
• Join an intimate Q&A with the Artist House team about careers, artist development, recording, publishing, management, and the changing music business.
• Learn the Artist House model and how its teams across records, publishing, management, studios, and partnerships work to support long-term artist careers.
• Connect with industry professionals and fellow SITM members in a space designed around collaboration and community.
And, schedule permitting, Artist House co-founder Gregg Wattenberg may stop by to answer questions and share insight from his career as a songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur.
Space is limited, and registration is required.
