About

On behalf of the Bearkat Battalion, we invite you to join us in honoring the legacy of Captain Rowdy Inman, a distinguished SHSU ROTC alumnus who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation. This event brings together cadets, alumni, family members, and supporters to remember his service and sacrifice while investing in the future of our program.

In addition to honoring CPT Inman's legacy, the 5K serves as a critical fundraiser for the Bearkat Battalion. Proceeds directly support cadet scholarships, leadership development opportunities, training resources, and morale-building events that help prepare the next generation of Army officers.
