Join SLCE for an information session about the 2027 Alternative Spring and May Break programs.

Alternative breaks are immersive trips meant to engaged students in service-learning related to a specific community and social issue. There is no cost to participate in these programs, but space is limited. Attending an information session is not required in order to apply, but it is a great way to learn more about the programs and application process.

Alternative Break applications are due November 15, 2026. Learn more and see the application at uwyo.edu/ab

The 2027 Alternative Spring Break programs are Community Health (Williamson, WV), Animal Welfare (Kanab, UT), and Conservation, Stewardship, and Rock Climbing (Moab, UT). There will also be a May Break (May 16-26) program focused on Community Development Across Generations in San Miguel de los Bancos, Ecuador.
