Ignite Weekly

About

Join us on Monday Nights in BLIC 114 for a time of worship, a Gospel-centered teaching, and practical applications equipping you to follow Jesus faithfully in college and beyond. Ignite is a student community seeking to know Christ and to make Him known. We believe that God is still moving in this day, and that the Gospel is the only answer to needs of this generation. Come experience His Presence with us. There is a seat for you here!

Our Vision is to see App State transformed by the reality of the Gospel.

Our Values:

Devotion to Jesus

We are committed to being a people of radical devotion to Jesus. A gaze fixed on Him, through prayer, worship, and the meditation of scripture is our highest focus.

“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4

Missional Living

We are committed to living our daily lives on mission, as Jesus did, being ministers of reconciliation. As His image-bearers, we walk in love, power, and the Gospel message daily so that the world will know Him.

“As Christ is, so also are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17

Community

We are committed to gathering and building authentic relationships to encourage and empower one another in the way of Christ.

“And let us consider how we spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together...” Hebrews 10:24-25

Christ-Centered Unity

There is power when the Church is unified around Jesus. We “make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace” (Eph. 4:3) among believers.

“May they become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent me and loved them even as You loved me.” John 17:23
