About

Join GSA and the Society of St. Andrew for a volunteer gleaning event at Great Scott Farms in Mt. Dora to harvest fresh produce that would otherwise go to waste. Recovered produce will be brought back to UCF for distribution to graduate students.

What to bring: Closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing that can get dirty, and a reusable water bottle. A hat, sunscreen and gloves are recommended. No experience is necessary; tools and harvesting bags will be provided.

Transportation: Group transportation options are being explored. Volunteers with vehicles who can help transport others are encouraged to let organizers know.

Address: 26216 County Road 448A Mount Dora, Florida 32757

Please email GSA at gsa@ucf.edu if interested in participating.
