About
Join the Interfaith Center and Mosaic Center on Tuesday, November 10th, at 6:00 PM in the Interfaith Center for an evening celebrating Native American Heritage Month. Food and storytelling are important parts of many Indigenous cultures, serving as ways to preserve traditions, share knowledge and build community. Through this gathering, we hope to honor these traditions and create space for learning, listening, and sharing.
The dinner menu will include frybread, venison soup, and dessert. Frybread and venison soup are staple foods among Indigneous people. Alongside the meal, we will share stories about influential Indigenous people and invite attendees to share their own stories and experiences. Whether you come to listen, learn, or share, we welcome you to be part of the conversation.
Want to help prepare the meal? Join us at 3:00 PM in the Interfaith Center to help cook dinner and learn how to make frybread! No prior cooking experience is needed, just bring your willingness to participate. We look forward to seeing you!
RSVP to let us know you're coming!
