About

The Udall Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to college sophomores and juniors in recognition of leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to the environment or to Native American nations.

In 2027, the Udall Foundation anticipates awarding up to 65 scholarships of $7,500 each. Applicants must first be nominated by their university, before receiving consideration from the Udall Foundation. Wayne State's campus deadline (to be considered for nomination) is December 1, 2026.

Come learn about the Udall Scholarship and application process from the Office of Fellowships and Jonathan Teh, Wayne State's first and second Udall Scholar. We'll share snacks and next steps, and look forward to connecting with you!
