About

The CARE Peer Allies is CARE's lowest level of involvement for students who are passionate about interpersonal violence prevention but may not have much free time in their schedules. Ally meetings happen once a month (second Wednesday of each month 4-5pm) and go over CARE updates and upcoming events, as well as a discussion on a topic related to the month the meeting is occurring in (for example, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month so we discuss relationship red flags and how to best support survivors). The Ally program is a great introduction to the CARE Office and the topics we deal with and is best for students who do not have the time to commit to training and a weekly meeting.
