Join Engineering at Carolina (E@C) and Association of Nursing Students (ANS) to explore how engineering and technology can improve nursing practice and patient care. The workshop will include a discussion of the connections between nursing, healthcare, and engineering, followed by two guest speakers, Dr. Mark Piehl and Maureen Baker, who will share insights into healthcare innovation and collaboration between nurses and engineers. Participants will also learn about technologies that help nurses provide safer and more effective patient care. The event will conclude with a small-group activity to brainstorm innovative solutions to challenges nurses face in clinical settings.
