About

Spend a Saturday building real assistive devices with alumni and current students at the Makerspace! Join Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM-NJIT) to assemble sensory boards and learning boxes that will be donated to support local kids with sensory processing needs.

No experience necessary, just bring your hands and curiosity. You’ll get hands-on time assembling the devices, plus a chance to connect with alumni over lunch for real talk on careers, grad school, and life after NJIT.

Free food, a Makerspace tour, and a day that actually makes a difference. All participants must complete Make101 beforehand.

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 Time: 10 AM – 2 PM Location: NJIT Makerspace, GITC Building RSVP: (link below)
