About
Join us for a special presentation by Dr. Anastasiia Vasylchenkova, editor at Springer Nature Photonics and Nature Portfolio in which Vasylchenkova discusses what happens to a paper after submission.
This talk will provide a behind-the-scenes look at what editors seek in a manuscript and how the peer-review and publication processes work. It will explore the considerations involved in initial manuscript screening, reviewer selection, and the evaluation of referee reports. The talk will also discuss the differences among journals within the Nature Portfolio, how they interact, and how they serve different research communities. Finally, it will highlight opportunities for researchers, particularly early-career scientists, to engage with the Nature Portfolio.
