About
Activism & Resistance Speaker Series.
The Speaker Series is a program by ISE in Student Engagement & Belonging in collaboration with Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. Almost every Monday we will bring a speaker to campus or on zoom to speak to community building, advocacy and resiliency in navigating social justice both as an individual and within institutions. Faculty, Staff and Students are all welcome to attend.
About this presentation
This will focus on highlighting LGBTQIAS+ history and highlighting the ways in which advocacy and activism has always been at the forefront of our our community. We will start with Magnus Hirschfeld and William Dorsey Swann and end with Chase Strangio and the Trump 2.0 effect.
