About

We provide pre-medical students at Vanderbilt University the opportunity to the social, ethical, personal, and humanistic aspects of medicine through the reading and collective discussion of novels and books about healthcare. Furthermore, we offer effective mentorship from our physician faculty members who serve as role models, generous teachers, and regular members of the book club. Finally, we create an encouraging, collegial, thought-provoking space for pre-medical students to connect together and have earnest, fruitful, guided discussions with peers and mentors in their chosen career path.
