About
Hope & Healing: A Creative Healing Group for UAB Students Impacted by Suicide
If you’ve been impacted by suicide — through the loss of someone important to you or through your own experiences — you don’t have to carry those experiences alone.
Hope & Healing offers UAB students a supportive space to connect with others, express their experiences through creativity, and explore pathways toward healing and hope. No art experience is needed, and dinner will be provided.
Interested in participating? Contact Dr. Angela Stowe at amstowe@uab.edu.
Hope & Healing is part of The Apology, a UAB Arts in Medicine initiative facilitated by artist Brendan Bannon, using collaborative artmaking to support people affected by suicide loss, grief, and mental health challenges.
