About
From hurricanes and wildfires to extreme heat, climate-related disasters affect people differently depending on their age and circumstances. Older adults may face greater challenges responding to and recovering from these events, while childhood exposure to disasters can have lasting implications for cognitive health. Dr. Lori Hunter will discuss these connections and how understanding them can help protect health as we age.
Dr. Lori Hunter is Director of CU Boulder's Institute of Behavioral Science and Professor of Sociology.
