About
Join us for a conversation exploring the intersection of OB-GYN, women’s health, and public health. Students will learn about career pathways in both clinical medicine and public health, including how healthcare professionals work to improve outcomes for individual patients as well as entire communities.
Our guest speaker will share insights from their professional journey, discuss the role of OB-GYN and public health in addressing maternal and reproductive health needs, and highlight the variety of career and educational pathways available to students interested in these fields. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get advice on preparing for careers in medicine, healthcare, and public health.
This session is a great opportunity for pre-med and other healthcare-interested students to explore how a passion for patient care can extend beyond the clinic to create a broader impact on community health.
Guest Speaker: Lyndsey Neese, MD MMM CPE FACOG Director, Kentucky Department for Public Health, Division of Maternal and Child Health
