Mondays at Beinecke

Intentionally or not, we all create and accumulate records that document our lives and the communities we are part of. How do we preserve the records and stories that are important to us? How can we contribute towards a more accurate, representative historic record of the place and time in which we live?

Join Beinecke’s Community Engagement Archivist Jennifer Coggins to learn about the New Haven Community Archives Support and Education program, which supports individuals, families, and organizations in New Haven in preserving their own records. Jennifer will give an overview of the resources offered by the program – including consultations, workshops, and access to supplies and equipment – and will share tips for getting started on your own archival project.
