About

We at Minorities in Business are looking to fill our Officer of Activities position. The following would be expected of this role

• To assist the President in establishing, implementing, and achieving the goals of the organization

• To assist the President in coordinating general body meetings, obtain speakers, make arrangements for meeting facilities, and assist in professional development of members

• To preside over meetings of the executive board or general body during the President’s absence

• To adhere to the provisions of the organization’s bylaws

• To perform other duties that may be assigned by the President/Executive Board

• To demonstrate a flexible work schedule; thus attending officer meetings regularly

The requirements to run and vote are: must be a standing member with dues paid for. Elections will be held in COB 111, Nov. 18 5pm. If you'd like to run, have a short speech ready on why our members should vote for you. For any questions or concerns, send an email to Javila8@patriots.uttyler.edu
