About
Join students, faculty, and industry professionals for a full day of cloud, AI, and career learning at UNC Charlotte, featuring Ryan Seaman, AWS Executive in Residence and former Global CIO of Western Union; Dr. Bojan Cukic, Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics; and Adam Tyler, Head of Cloud Automation & Observability at Truist.
The day opens with remarks from Dean Cukic and a keynote from Ryan Seaman, followed by a fireside chat with Adam Tyler in the afternoon. Across two workshop sessions, choose from hands-on workshops led by practitioners from AWS, Truist, Wells Fargo, Ippon Technologies, and Method, where you can investigate a simulated cyberattack, build a multi-agent AI system, stress-test product ideas before writing code, explore generative AI, and learn how AWS certifications can launch your career. Principal is also sponsoring an invite-only pitch event. A networking mixer connects you with professionals, and breakfast and lunch are provided.
Full schedule and speaker details at awsdayclt.org.
