Co-Creating with AI: Sound, Image, and Embodiment launches a new interdisciplinary event series exploring how artists, researchers, students, and creators across UCR are working with artificial intelligence. Through hands-on activities and creative presentations, participants will discover new AI tools for generating images, music and sound, and 3D content while experiencing projects that bring together technology, movement, visual media, and artistic imagination. No specialized AI experience is required—everyone curious about experimenting, creating, and discovering new possibilities with AI is welcome.
The afternoon combines practical workshops led by UCR Library with presentations of multimedia and multimodal projects by UCR graduate students. Sessions will introduce accessible AI tools for image generation, music and sound creation, and 3D generation, alongside student showcases demonstrating how AI can become part of collaborative creative practice. Networking breaks will provide opportunities to meet participants from different disciplines, exchange ideas, and explore new possibilities for interdisciplinary collaboration
