GSBS x SMAC Charity Padel Tournament
NYU’s Graduate Sports Business Society is teaming up with our uptown counterparts, the Sports Management Association of Columbia, for a charity padel tournament benefiting New York Junior Tennis & Learning (NYJTL).
Every semester, GSBS hosts a charity event. Last spring, “Hopes for Hope” raised money for PeacePlayers Brooklyn’s youth basketball programs. This fall, we’re taking it to the court. All proceeds go to NYJTL, which brings grassroots tennis and academic programs to kids across all five boroughs.
The format: 24 players, 12 teams of two, made up of NYU and Columbia sports business students and alumni. Teams pay a buy-in to enter, and every dollar goes to NYJTL. Not playing? Come watch, cheer, and donate.

• 5:00 – Welcome and round robin
• 6:45 – Quarterfinals
• 7:00 – Semifinals
• 7:15 – Finals and wrap-up
