About
Please join Emmaline Blikstad for her presentation "Kristallnacht Through Primary Sources".
In the study of history, primary sources—materials such as letters, personal testimonies, photographs, and newspaper articles—recount how individuals and societies experienced the events chronicled in textbooks. This presentation will explore Kristallnacht, the November Pogrom of 1938, through reproductions of historical primary sources and invites attendees to consider Kristallnacht’s impact on Jewish individuals, families, businesses, synagogues, and communities under Nazi rule. Attendees are invited to reflect on the personal experiences retold through primary sources and remember the world’s promise of “Never Again.” * Buc Bulletin Event
