About

Computer Club is WMU's oldest tech club and honestly one of the strangest, best rooms on campus. Come hang out, work on something, or just see what everyone else is up to. There's soldering irons, oscilloscopes, retro consoles, a couch, a whiteboard covered in inside jokes, and a pile of donated hardware big enough to build almost anything.

People show up to:

• Work on personal projects with someone to bounce ideas off

• Learn Linux, electronics, 3D printing, networking, low-level programming, whatever

• Fix, break, and re-fix stuff from the parts bin

• Play games, watch dumb videos, argue about your OS.

• Meet the CS, cyber, engineering, and one-or-two-humanities folks who make the place run

We are a do-ocracy. If you want to do the thing, do the thing. 10$ dues, no gatekeeping, no experience needed. First-years welcome, transfers welcome, people who just want somewhere quiet to code welcome.

Meetings run every Thursday at 6 PM during the semester. Show up any week.
