About

Ever have an idea and wondered what it would take to turn it into an actual company?

Join UBSIT for an exciting guest speaker event featuring Daniel Dreizin, a University at Buffalo alumnus, co-founder and CEO of Elysium Security, and one of Buffalo Business First's Inno Under 25 honorees!

While studying IT and Management at UB, Daniel helped launch Elysium Security, an innovative startup that leverages artificial intelligence and computer vision to revolutionize retail security. Since then, his entrepreneurial journey has included winning a UB CoLab Startup Bootcamp competition, joining UB's prestigious Cultivator startup program, and navigating the challenges of bringing an ambitious idea to market.

But building a startup isn't just about having a great idea. Beyond that, it's also about solving real problems, developing tech that people actually need, assembling the right team, and creating a sustainable business out of innovation. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or simply interested in emerging technology and innovation, this is an opportunity to gain real-world insights from someone who was just like you a few years ago!
