About

• Wednesday, November 18 (IEW) International Flag Parade

At Texas State University, the Flag Parade is a signature event that celebrates the diversity of the international student community. Students sign up in advance to represent their home countries and are provided with or bring their national flags.

Participants gather at a designated starting point and walk together across campus in a coordinated procession, often accompanied by music and announcements recognizing each country. As each group passes, their country is introduced, creating a moment of pride and recognition.

The parade typically concludes at a central campus location where students, staff, and faculty come together to celebrate, take photos, and continue building a sense of global community at TXST.
