Are you thinking about what comes after your bachelor’s degree? If you’ve ever considered earning a master’s, Ph.D. or pursuing a career in research, the McNair Scholars Program is here to help you get there.

We are currently looking for motivated sophomores, juniors, and non-graduating seniors who want to take their academic journey to the next level.

What is the McNair Scholars Program? McNair is a federal program designed to prepare undergraduate students for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities.

What’s in it for you?

Paid Summer Research: Earn a stipend while conducting hands-on research with a faculty mentor.Grad School Preparation: Get personalized help with graduate school applications, personal statements, and GRE prep. Travel Opportunities: Attend and present your research at national conferences (fully funded).Application Fee Waivers: Save hundreds of dollars when applying to graduate schools.

Who Should Apply? To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, have a 3.0+ GPA, and meet the following criteria:

Be a first-generation college student and meet federal low-income eligibility requirements
