About

During this webinar, program directors from the U.S. National Science Foundation's Directorate of Biological Sciences (NSF BIO) will provide information and answer questions about newly issued funding opportunities. REGISTER NOW!

Once such opportunity is NSF BIO's Core Research in Biological Sciences (BIO Core) funding, which supports foundational and interdisciplinary research projects that expand knowledge of biology at any level of organization, from the molecular to the biome scale. We accept proposals that cover scientific topics associated with legacy programs historically supported by NSF BIO and proposals that explore new areas of biological sciences. LEARN MORE!

The U.S. National Science Foundation Directorate for Biological Sciences (BIO) enables discoveries for understanding life. NSF BIO-supported research advances the frontiers of biological knowledge — at and across organizational, geographic and temporal scales — and provides a theoretical basis for prediction within complex, dynamic living systems through the integration of scientific disciplines.

The directorate also supports several user facilities and centers that create or synthesize data; provide access to tools, technology and expertise; and provide educational and training opportunities. VISIT NSF BIO FOR MORE INFO ON FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES!
