About
Be the Coug who saves a life! In these monthly virtual trainings, participants will learn how to tell when someone is overdosing and how to respond. We will go over what naloxone is, how it works and how to administer it. We will talk about substance use, opioids including fentanyl, how to test substances for fentanyl and other harm reduction methods in overdose prevention. Attendees in the state of Washington will be sent free naloxone and fentanyl test strips along with promotional items while supplies last. Trainings are designed to be a place for students to ask questions freely without stigma. There are many reasons why someone may want to attend a training. We welcome you. Let’s help keep each other safe.
