Celebrate International Education Week at Global Fest! We invite all students to come together for an afternoon of global flavors, music, and connection as we honor Loyola’s rich international spirit.
We will also have the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker Dr. Marilyn Susman.
Professor Emeritus of Loyola, member of the Board of the Chicago Chapter of the Fulbright Association and a member of the Fulbright Mentoring Committee - Marilyn Susman, Ph.D. is Associate Professor Emerita in Counseling Psychology at LUC. During her tenure she taught courses in counseling skills, theory, consultation and supervision. She conducted research and published on the Inner Experiences of Therapists. She was a Fulbright Senior Scholar in Malaysia (1997) in Cyprus (2003) and a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Indonesia (2013.) She continues to consult with faculty and school counselors there. Dr. Susman is in the private practice of a psychology. She is Adjunct Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and provides supervision for students at The Chicago Center of Psychoanalysis.
