About
In this workshop, participants will learn how to identify research articles, read more purposefully, increase understanding, and use AI-powered learning tools to support their own reading. Students will practice strategies for identifying key concepts, exploring unfamiliar terminology, asking analytical questions, evaluating evidence, and connecting new information to their own research interests and learning goals.
This workshop is part of the Research Ready Workshop series, offered in partnership between the University Library, the Office of Scholarly Innovation and Student Research, and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. The Research Ready Workshop Series is designed to prepare students with the skills needed for researchers, regardless of discipline. Students who attend 3 or more workshops and submit the required artifacts for each will be eligible for a certificate and an honor cord at graduation.
