About

A light 3-kilometer run on Capitol Crescent Trail next to the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, requiring few volunteers to operate. The route of the race is a simple, 1.5 kilometers out and back, The most difficult part of this will be obtaining the permits from the National Park Service. The main idea of this run is to raise awareness about sexual violence and publicize accessibility to OAS resources. Whereas the ticket revenue from the Basketball game would be the fundraising aspect, and OAS could provide pamphlets, flyers, or wallet cards to hand out at the event. --- Event Details: (link below)
