About the Lecture
Join us for a conversation "On Grievances and Griefs: Robert Frost and Politics" with Executive Director of the Robert Frost Society, Robert B. Hass. Dr. Hass will lead an in-depth discussion of Frost's aesthetic principles as they apply to his best-known poems, such as "Mending Wall," and how Frost began to betray those principles later in life, as he became increasingly involved in Cold War politics. Lunch will be provided.
Stick around campus that evening for the full panel discussion on Frost and American politics, featuring Hass alongside Robert Crawford, Joseph Bottum, and Martin Bickman. Details and RSVP here.
