About

NMDP is a nonprofit organization that helps match potential donors with patients based on ethnic background.As one of my responsibilities for my internship I must create an organization on campus. Be The Match helps save the lives of people who have blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, as well as diseases such as sickle cell and blood stem cell or marrow transplant. The goal on campus is to educate students and bring awareness to the community about how to be the cure for the community. Educating the Prairie View students about what we do, and the importance of increasing the odds is the main goal for Be The Match.
